Partnering for Prevention, LLC is a consulting firm located in New Jersey. The staff provides training in a variety of topics addressing the prevention of child abuse and neglect as well as the importance of community partnerships to address the issue.

Our Mission

 

Work with state, national and international entities and individuals to create and promote collaborative relationships/partnerships which result in the prevention of physical, emotional and sexual abuse of children.

What We Do...

Technical Assistance to Agencies and Organizations:

 

Technical assistance to agencies and organizations working to establish or promote

child abuse prevention programs in their communities

 

  • Using contagious energy and enthusiasm to get groups invigorated about their work.

  • Problem solving to assist in avoiding and/or overcoming potential roadblocks

  • Bringing 30 + years of national and international experience in the field of child abuse prevention

  • Helping factions with disparate points of view find common ground.

Workshops and Trainings:

 

Workshops may vary in length from 1-3 hours and may address topics such as;

Keynote Presentations:

 

Pat Stanislaski, Director of Partnering for Prevention, LLC

 

Pat's experience in child abuse and neglect spans a 30 year period.  Most recently, she served as the Administrator for the Office of Early Childhood Services, in the NJ Department of Children & Families.  Her duties included providing statewide prevention services for the most vulnerable children – 0 to 6 years old.   Prior to this position, Pat served as the Executive Director of the New Jersey Child Assault Prevention (CAP) Project for 23 years.  She also served as Executive Director of the National/International Center for Assault Prevention for 12 years.    Pat has conducted trainings in child abuse prevention across the United States and in 16 countries outside the U.S.  To date, she has trained more than 5,000 people in child abuse prevention strategies.

 

 

Pat is a frequent presenter at national and international conferences, state and local seminars and has also presented several webinars on child abuse prevention.  She is the recipient of several awards including the prestigious Commissioner’s Award from the US Department of Health & Human Services, Administration of Children, Youth and Families, awarded each year to one person from each state who has made outstanding contributions in the field of child abuse prevention.   A long time member of the International Society for Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect (ISPCAN), she has served as a member of their Expert Faculty.  In addition, she has served as an active member and Membership Chair of the National Coalition to Prevent Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation.
